Change is Inevitable

Nothing ever stays the same and I have always loved the arrival of the Fall season. I am not sure if it is the cooler temperatures that usher out the sweltering heat of the summer or if it is because my birthday is in September but either way I love something new, different…other. Creatively, I get excited working with new colors, fabrics and designs that are inspired by items as simple as a button. Unlike previous years, I have no plans for launching a full collection this Fall/Winter. So far, I have completed one new scarf and a lovely, graded jacquard knit fitted button-down long sleeve shirt with button cuffs in Fuchsia. I wore them both during Invest Fest. This shirt is a reboot of the short-sleeved version of the Vintage Yellow Flirty Fitted Shirt that was featured for sale this summer. I have an amazing Linen/Polyester fabric in Ink that I am not sure what I will make with it…maybe a Fall Dress, maybe a new Shirt. There are a multitude of options available and I will let my motivation this 2nd half of the year flow just like the wind as it blows through the changing colors of the Autumn leaves.
